第四者、教門不可思議。如方廣、《花嚴》偈凡十萬偈，《摩訶波若》數亦同然，如此等經尚以為多；至如大通智勝所說恒河沙偈，威音王佛所明二十千萬億那由他偈。所以辨其文多，意欲顯其義廣，是謂教門不可思議也。

Fourth, the teaching gate is inconceivable. For instance, the Vaipulya and the Avataṃsaka have a total of one hundred thousand verses, and the Mahāprajñāpāramitā has the same number; such sūtras are already considered extensive. Yet Mahābhijñājñānābhibhū preached verses as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, and the Buddha Bhīṣmagarjitasvararāja expounded twenty thousand million nayutas of verses. The purpose of showing the multiplicity of its text is to reveal the breadth of its meaning; this is called the teaching gate being inconceivable.
