四者《淨名經》云「譬如勝怨乃可為勇」，如是兼除老病死者是菩薩心，以修空觀所謂自行，慈悲和忍所謂化他，具自行化他謂雄勇法師。

Fourth: the Vimalakīrtinirdeśa states: "Just as conquering an enemy may be considered brave," similarly, eliminating old age, sickness, and death together is the mind of a bodhisattva. Cultivating the contemplation of emptiness is so-called self-cultivation; benevolence, compassion, and harmonious patience are so-called transforming others. Possessing both self-cultivation and the transformation of others refers to the heroic Dharma master.
