10.188

贊曰：第四大段眾皆歡喜聞讚法勝。付授丁寧，所以歡喜，非見遣化佛等還所以歡喜。准此故應席便散也。天親菩薩釋《伽耶山頂經》「歡喜奉行」有三義：一說者清淨，以於諸法得自在故；二所說法清淨，以如實證知清淨法體故；三依所說法得果清淨，以得淨妙境界故。如經「皆大歡喜信受奉行」。

The Eulogy says: The fourth major section is the assembly all rejoicing. Having heard the praise of the superiority of the Dharma and the earnest entrustment, they therefore rejoiced; it was not because they saw the emanated buddhas and others sent back that they rejoiced. In accordance with this, the assembly was to disperse. Bodhisattva Vasubandhu, explaining "rejoicing and putting it into practice" in the Gayāśīrṣa-sūtra, gives three meanings: first, the purity of the speaker, because he has attained mastery over all phenomena; second, the purity of the spoken Dharma, because he has realized and known the pure nature of reality as it truly is; third, the purity of the fruit attained in reliance on the spoken Dharma, because he has attained a pure and wonderful realm. As the sūtra says: "All greatly rejoiced, faithfully accepted, and put it into practice."
