禪謂色界四靜慮，謂初有尋有伺靜慮，第二離尋伺喜，第三離喜樂，第四已離喜樂捨念清淨靜慮。
"Dhyāna" refers to the four dhyānas of the form realm: the first dhyāna with vitarka and vicāra; the second, free from vitarka and vicāra, with joy (prīti); the third, free from joy, with pleasure (sukha); and the fourth, having already abandoned joy and pleasure, being purified through upekṣā and smṛti.
