贊曰：此成自責。然由我等不解佛之方便隨宜所說諸法，初聞即信即便受行，思惟取證，故佛不以大乘度脫，由此是我輩之咎也。

The commentary: This concludes the self-reproach. Yet because we did not understand the dharmas spoken by the Buddha according to suitability as expedient means, upon first hearing them we immediately believed and received and practiced them, contemplating and realizing them; therefore the Buddha did not deliver and liberate us by means of the Mahāyāna, and thus this was our own fault.
