贊曰：滅後有二：「合成」已前造塔眾華，已後供養。「玫瑰」者火齊珠也。「抹香」者，若手𭢖摩作「抹」，細壤土作「抹」。塗飾作「瀎」。今既別有塗香，故應作「[土*未]」。《玉篇》「粖者，亡達、亡結二反，粥糜也」。碎香如糜，故作「粖」。碎香如細壞土，應作「[土*未]」。

The Commentary says: Concerning [the time] after extinction, there are two parts: before 'completing', erecting stūpas with various flowers; after it, making offerings. 'Méiguī' refers to fiery carbuncle jewels. As for 'powdered incense' (抹香), if rubbed with the hands, it is written with 'mǒ' (抹); if fine loose soil, it is written with 'mò' (抹). For smearing or painting, it is written as 'mò' (瀎). Now, since there is separately 'ointment incense', it should properly be written with '[土*未]' (mò). The Yupian states: 'Mò (粖) has the two fanqie spellings wáng-dá and wáng-jié, meaning congee or gruel.' Incense broken down into gruel-like powder is therefore written '粖'. Incense pulverized into fine crumbly soil should be written '[土*未]'.
