1.11

問：會三因果歸本一者，為當三皆非實故歸於一實耶？為當唯二非實故歸於一實耶？若如後者，何故經言：「我有方便力，開示三乘法。」若如前者，云何復言：「唯是一事實，餘二則非真。」

Question: In converging the causes and fruits of the three to return to the fundamental one, is it that all three are unreal and therefore return to the one real? Or is it that only two are unreal and therefore return to the one real? If the latter, why does the sūtra say, 'I have the power of skillful means to open and reveal the teachings of the Triyāna'? If the former, why does it further say, 'Only this one matter is real; the other two are not true'?
