Fourth, explaining the universal eradication of delusion: if one enters emptiness from the provisional, one merely eradicates the delusions of the four abodes; the flowers still cling to the body, and it is not yet the correct Dharma; eradicating all fetters merely departs from falsehood, but is not complete liberation. If one enters the provisional from emptiness, one merely eliminates [delusions like] dust and sand without eradicating based on the root; this is also not called universal. If emptiness and the provisional are non-dual and one correctly contemplates the middle way, once the root has fallen, the branches and twigs will naturally fall away, just like turning over the great earth so that all grasses and trees are crushed; therefore, it is called the universal eradication of delusion.
