六神通普者，若大羅漢天眼見大千、支佛見百佛土、菩薩見恒沙佛土，皆是限量之通，故不名普。何以故？緣境既狹，發通亦小。今圓教菩薩緣十法界境發通，遍見十法界而無限極，三乘尚不知其名，何況見其境界？眼見既爾，餘例可知，神通妙中當廣說。

Sixth, universal supernormal powers: if a great arhat sees a trichiliocosm with the divine eye, a pratyekabuddha sees a hundred Buddha-lands, and a bodhisattva sees Buddha-lands as many as the sands of the Ganges, these are all limited supernormal powers, and therefore not called universal. Why? Because the object-field conditioned is narrow, the supernormal power aroused is also small. Now the bodhisattva of the perfect teaching arouses supernormal powers conditioning the realm of the ten dharma-realms, universally seeing the ten dharma-realms without limit or end. The three vehicles do not even know their names, let alone see their realms. Eye sight being thus, the rest may be inferred by analogy; they will be explained extensively under the wonderful supernormal powers.
