Second, from "If matter..." downward, clarifying the provisional and real individually has two parts: first, ordinary beings. The mediocre and common are called "ordinary," and the debased and evil are called "base"; these are the five aggregates of the six realms that constitute solely the persons of samsāra of fragmented lifespans. Second, from "Precepts, concentration..." downward, sages, which has two parts: first, showing the characteristics. Having transformed the ordinary to become sagely, one transforms the five aggregates into the five parts [of the Dharma-body]. Although the three vehicles and four teachings differ as provisional or real, they all can transform the aggregates into the Dharma-body, gathering phenomena according to stage to form the provisional person.
