今言刀杖段段壞者，明人執殺具，一折一來，隨來隨斷，彌顯力大。

Now, saying that the knives and staves break piece by piece clarifies that when a person holds the weapons of slaughter, as each breaks another comes, and as each comes it snaps, which makes the great power all the more manifest.
