經曰　佛言：「菩薩！妄本不生，無妄可息。知心無心，無心可止。無分無別現識不生，無生可止是即無止亦非無止。何以故？止無止故。」

The sūtra says: The Buddha said: "Bodhisattva! Delusion is originally unborn; there is no delusion to cease. Knowing that the mind is without mind, there is no mind to cease. Without differentiation and without distinction, manifest consciousness does not arise; since there is no arising to cease, this is non-cessation, yet it is also not the absence of cessation. Why is this? Because cessation is without cessation."
