經曰　佛言：「菩薩！彼心喘者，以內外使隨使流注滴瀝成海，天風鼓浪大龍驚駭，驚駭之心故令多喘。菩薩令彼眾生存三守一入如來禪，以禪定故心則無喘。」

The sūtra says: The Buddha said, "Bodhisattva! As for those whose minds pant: because the internal and external afflictive drivers stream along with the secondary drivers, dripping into a sea, the heavenly wind stirs the waves and the great dragon is terrified; because of the terrified mind, it is made to pant excessively. Bodhisattva, cause those sentient beings to preserve the three, guard the one, and enter into the tathāgata-dhyāna. By means of dhyāna-concentration, the mind will then not pant."
