The sūtra says: Mahābalavān Bodhisattva said, "What kinds of matters are the dharmas of the three liberations? Through what dharma does one enter the samādhi of contemplation of principle?" The Buddha said, "The three liberations are space liberation, vajra liberation, and prajñā liberation. As for the mind in contemplation of principle, the mind is pure according with principle, and there is nothing acceptable that is not mind." Mahābalavān Bodhisattva said, "How does one preserve function? How does one contemplate it?" The Buddha said, "The non-duality of mind and matter is called preserving function. Internal practice and external practice, emerging and entering are non-dual; not abiding in a single mark, the mind is devoid of gain and loss; and into the stage of the one and non-one, the pure mind flows: this is called contemplating it."
