經曰　「菩薩！如是之人不在二相，雖不出家不住在家，故雖無法服、不具持波羅提木叉戒、不入布薩，能以自心無為自恣而獲聖果，不住二乘入菩薩道，後當滿地成佛菩提。」

The sūtra states: "Bodhisattva, such a person does not dwell in the two marks. Although they do not leave home, they do not remain at home. Therefore, even though they lack the Dharma robes, do not fully observe the prātimokṣa precepts, and do not attend the poṣadha, through their own unconditioned mind they freely give rein to themselves and yet attain the holy fruition. Not remaining in the two vehicles, they enter the bodhisattva path, and later, having fulfilled the grounds, they will accomplish the awakening of a Buddha."
