論曰：是明菩薩種性之人，從捨闡提不信之障，即入六行之初十信。於修行地之所即發一念淨心，即是十住之初發心。決定明白者，謂十行位眾行明淨故。金剛智力者，謂十迴向堅固智力故。阿鞞跋致者，謂初地已上真證無退故。度脫眾生慈悲無盡者，即於前位利他行故，為別二乘不能行故。

The commentary states: This explains a person of the bodhisattva lineage: from abandoning the obstruction of icchantika lack of faith, they immediately enter the ten faiths at the beginning of the six practices. At the locus of the ground of cultivation, they immediately arouse a single thought of pure mind, which is the initial arousal of the mind in the ten abodes. 'Resolute and lucid' refers to the manifold practices in the stage of the ten practices being lucid and pure. 'Endowed with the power of vajra-wisdom' refers to the firm power of wisdom in the ten dedications. 'Avaivartika' refers to the true realization from the first ground and above being non-retrograde. 'Delivering sentient beings with inexhaustible loving-kindness and compassion' refers to the practice of benefiting others in the aforementioned stages, which distinguishes them from the two vehicles who are incapable of this practice.
