2.45

論曰：此是第七陳疑。疑意而言：凡諸禪定能攝掉動之念，令定散亂之心，云何出世無生行心亦不入住於禪定耶？如其不禪，則應是動。有如是疑，故乘彼問也。

The treatise states: This is the seventh [part], presenting a doubt. The meaning of the doubt says: in general, meditative concentrations can collect thoughts of restlessness and agitation, causing the scattered mind to become concentrated; why does the mind of supramundane practice of non-arising neither enter nor abide in meditative concentration? If it does not meditate, then it should be agitated. Having such a doubt, he therefore followed up with this question.
