2.99

論曰：此下第二遣有得執。於中有四：一者正明無得、二者重遣疑情、三者領解、四者述成。初中有二：先問、後答。依前入言如言取義，謂無垢識有所入處，入時證得故有所得。有作是疑，故作是問。

The treatise states: From this point downward is the second section, eliminating the attachment to attainment. Herein there are four parts: first, directly clarifying non-attainment; second, repeatedly eliminating doubts; third, expressing comprehension; fourth, affirming and validating. In the first part there are two: first, the question; second, the answer. Relying on the earlier word 'entry' and grasping the meaning according to the words, [the questioner] supposes that the immaculate consciousness has a place into which one enters, and that because one realizes and attains it upon entering, there is an attainment. Having such a doubt, he therefore asks this question.
