經曰　地藏菩薩言：「如來所說無生無滅即是無常。滅是生滅，生滅滅已，寂滅為常，常故不斷。是不斷法，離諸三界動不動法，於有為法如避火坑，依何等法而自呵責入彼一門？」

The sūtra says: Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva said, "The Tathāgata has preached that being unarisen and unceasing is impermanence. Cessation is the cessation of arising and ceasing; when arising and ceasing have ceased, quiescent cessation is constancy, and because it is constant it is uninterrupted. This uninterrupted dharma is free from the moving and unmoving dharmas of the three realms; towards conditioned dharmas, one avoids them as one would avoid a pit of fire. Relying on what dharma does one reprove oneself and enter that single gate?"
