3.46

經曰　舍利弗言：「不可思議。如來常以如實而化眾生，如是實義多文廣義，利根眾生乃可修之，鈍根眾生難以措意。云何方便令彼鈍根得入是諦？」

The sūtra states: Śāriputra said, "Inconceivable! The Tathāgata constantly transforms sentient beings through the real. Such real meaning has many words and extensive purport; sentient beings of sharp faculties can then cultivate it, but sentient beings of dull faculties find it difficult to settle their minds [upon it]. By what expedient means may those of dull faculties be brought to enter this truth?"
