3.67

論曰：此是第四述成。於中有二：總述、別成。別中有三，謂法、喻、合。合中有二：一者合彼眾流，先以法合、後即牒喻；二者合括眾流，先舉其喻、後以法合。

The commentary says: This is the fourth [section], expressing affirmation. In it there are two parts: a general affirmation and a specific elaboration. In the specific elaboration there are three parts, namely, doctrine, simile, and application. In the application there are two parts: first, applying [the simile] to those many streams, where it first applies the doctrine and then repeats the simile; second, applying [the simile] of embracing the many streams, where it first raises the simile and then applies the doctrine.
