The sūtra states: The Buddha said, "Bodhisattva! Meditation is itself movement; unmoving and not meditating is the meditation of non-arising. The nature of meditation is non-arising, free from the mark of the meditation of arising. The nature of meditation is non-abiding, free from the agitation of abiding in meditation. Knowing that the nature of meditation has neither motion nor stillness, one immediately attains non-arising. Non-arising prajñā does not depend or abide, and the mind also does not move. Due to this cognition, one therefore attains the pāramitā of non-arising prajñā."
