三宗者，依三乘，用三十二等諸大相為宗。亦可增廣不同三十二相也，即如文辨相德為體耳。

Third, as for the central theme: relying on the triyāna, it takes the thirty-two and other great marks as the central theme. Alternatively, it is augmented and extended, differing from the thirty-two marks; thus, as the text distinguishes, the virtues of the marks are taken as the essence.
