Fifth, when the flower can gather the other, the one is manifest and the many are hidden; when all gather the flower, the one is hidden and the many are manifest. The two manifest cannot co-occur; the two hidden cannot be juxtaposed. The hidden and the manifest, and the manifest and the hidden, are simultaneous and unobstructed; total gathering and total obliteration, preservation and cessation are both achieved. The number of propositions is the same as before. As it says below: "In the east one sees entering proper absorption; in the west one sees arising from samādhi," and so forth.
