第八三部攝者，謂記別、自說、方廣。以《法華》中說餘九部為小乘故，此經非彼，故唯三攝。

Eighth, being subsumed under three divisions: namely, vyākaraṇa (prophecy), udāna (inspired utterances), and vaipulya (corrective expansion). Because the Saddharmapuṇḍarīka Sūtra states that the remaining nine divisions belong to the Hīnayāna, and this sūtra is not that, it is therefore subsumed under only three.
