Second, analogously revealing: like this one phrase, all other phrases, each and every one, are also like this, which is precisely inexhaustibility. The inexhaustible completion is known only to the universal eye; it is not the realm of cognitive deliberation. A later passage says: 'In each and every sūtra, / He discriminates inexpressible dharmas; / Within each and every dharma, / He again expounds inexpressible dharmas.' It also says: 'If within a single minute dust mote / There are inexpressible Buddha-lands, / Within each and every one of those Buddha-lands, / There are again inexpressible Buddha-lands.' Explanation: this being layer upon layer like Indra's net is called the teaching essence of this sūtra's perfect teaching.
