第六宗趣者，語之所表曰宗，宗之所歸曰趣。然此大經宗趣難辨，略敘十說以顯一宗。

Sixth is the central theme and direction: what speech expresses is called the central theme (zong); where the central theme tends is called the direction (qu). However, the central theme and direction of this great sūtra are difficult to discern; I will briefly relate ten views to reveal the single central theme.
