1.69

二大遠法師，以華嚴三昧為宗。謂因行之華能嚴佛果。此上二說，但得所成行德，遺其所依法界。

Second, Dharma Master Da Yuan took the Avataṃsaka samādhi as the central theme, saying that the flowers of causal practice are able to adorn the fruit of Buddhahood. The above two views merely grasp the virtues of practice that are achieved, omitting the dharmadhātu upon which they rely.
