11.25

三明處者，此信等行，大分三位修之：初在十信位中，即初修學，如信進念慧等是也；二在三賢位修之漸熟，如〈十藏品〉信藏等亦多與此同。三至初地已上修之純熟，堪任勝用，以將淨治諸地。今此所說是後門也，故《地論》云「此信等十行盡是彰地淨法。」

Third, explaining the stages: these practices such as faith are, broadly speaking, cultivated across three stages: first, in the stage of the ten faiths, which is the initial study and cultivation, such as faith, vigor, mindfulness, wisdom, and so forth; second, in the stages of the three ranks of sages, where they are cultivated and gradually mature, as the "Treasure of Faith" and others in the "Chapter on the Ten Treasures" are also mostly identical to this; third, from the first bhūmi upward, where they are cultivated to full maturity and become capable of superior functions, so as to purify and govern the bhūmis. What is expounded here refers to the latter approach; therefore, the Dilun says: "These ten practices, such as faith, all manifest the dharmas that purify the bhūmis."
