15.37

初釋名者，心王菩薩是能問人，表數法依心，如數識等。菩薩洞達自在名王。阿僧祇是所問法。十數之初，從首為名，若具應名十大數品。

First, explaining the title: Bodhisattva Mind King is the inquirer, signifying that numerical methods rely on the mind, as in the consciousness of reckoning and so forth. The bodhisattva's thorough penetration and mastery is called 'king'. Asaṃkhyeya is the Dharma inquired about. It is the beginning of the ten numbers, so it is named after the first; if complete, it should be called 'Chapter on the Ten Great Numbers'.
