The eighth: the teeth have one mark, called jinmuqipo in Sanskrit. 'Between the teeth not admitting a single hair' translates here as 'spiraling conch pattern on the neck', which is the shape of the Buddha's teeth. From 'emitting great light' down clarifies the karmic function and benefit. The Dà zhìdù lùn states that the teeth are forty, neither more nor less. They are even, close-set, without coarseness or thinness, which humans cannot know.
