18.40

二修入眾別者，於中唯初位內有三會四眾，以是修故；餘位唯善財一身，以行別在人故。

Second, concerning the distinction in the assembly of cultivation and entry: within this, only within the initial stage are there three assemblies and the fourfold assembly, because it is [initial] cultivation; in the remaining stages, there is only Sudhana's single person, because the distinct practice resides in the individual.
