三明宗趣者，亦分會品同，既明入法界，即以此為宗。於中分別作三門：一約義、二約類、三約位。

Third, explaining the principal theme and purport: this also is the same for the section, the assembly, and the chapter. Since it explains entering the dharmadhātu, it takes this as its principal theme. Within it, three gates are differentiated: first, in terms of meaning; second, in terms of categories; third, in terms of stages.
