Regarding the spiritual friend of the fourth, the Dedication Reaching Everywhere: first, in presenting the Dharma and encouraging practice, there are also three parts: first, pointing out the place; second, indicating the person; third, instructing to inquire. The country named "Difficult to Endure" signifies that what can be realized is difficult to realize. "Kāliṅga" translates here as "time of contention." "Vatī" properly should be "vana," which translates here as "forest." This means that that bodhisattva preaches the Dharma and destroys obstacles in this forest, hence called "contention." Contention reveals the principle, which is also named difficult to endure. "Nun" manifests kindness, compassion, and pure wisdom. The name "Lion's Sprint" means pure wisdom without fear, decisively expounding the Dharma.
