Fourth, from "I have accomplished" onward, she directly reveals her own dharmadhātu. Therein are four parts: first, indicating the name; second, revealing the essence; third, discerning the function; and fourth, concluding the stage. In the first part, the bodhisattva's "depth of all-knowledge" has three meanings: 1. Standing in the stage of a bodhisattva, one attains the prajñā wisdom-function of a million asaṃkhyeyas, exhausting the source and depth of the Buddha's all-knowledge, meaning as stated above, even expounding the Dharma for bodhisattvas of the stage of equal enlightenment, which could not be done by those on lower stages; hence she attains this Dharma; 2. The light of wisdom suddenly illumines the three limits of time, exhausting the realm of the knowledge of all aspects; hence it takes this as its name; 3. Broadly producing offerings, she exhausts the source and depth of the Buddha's eight-phase wisdom; hence she attains this name. Second, from "O Great Sage" onward, explains the essence. Therein, first is the question, followed by the answer. "Light of wisdom" and so forth explains that prajñā is endowed with virtues. "In a single thought-moment" means sudden illumination. "Universally illumining the three times" means broad illumination. Thus, broad wisdom endowed with virtues constitutes its essential nature. Third, in from "O Great Sage" onward explaining the karmic function, there is also first a question, followed by the answer. In the answer, first the basis of the karmic function is discerned, meaning that prior to the realm and function of this Dharma gate there is this Dharma Grove samādhi, and now having entered this samādhi, she manifests this karmic function; below, directly revealing the karmic function has three parts: first, making offerings above to the Buddhas of the eight phases; second, from "if there are sentient beings" onward, explaining the saving of sentient beings below; and third, from "I do not arise" onward, transcending the two marks to reveal the karmic function of non-deliberation. Fourth, from "I only" onward, concludes her own stage.
