19.92

第九無縛無著解脫迴向中，初舉法勸修內，城名婆羅波提者，正云墮羅拔提，此云有門城，謂城有端嚴之門，故以為名也。大天者，無縛淨報，勝出自在，故立斯號。

Under the spiritual friend of the ninth, the dedication of the liberation of non-attachment and non-clinging, first, within adducing the Dharma and urging practice: as for the city named Bālapati, correctly it is Dvāravatī, translated here as "City Possessing Gates," meaning that the city has stately and dignified gates, hence it is named after this. As for Mahādeva (Dàtiān): with pure reward free from bondage, exceedingly eminent and sovereign, he therefore established this title.
