大段第二明眾生世間圓滿。於中先總料簡、後釋本文。初中略作十門分別：一明眾數、二新舊、三定器、四世出世、五界趣、六諸乘、七權實、八位地、九表法、十因果。

The second major section clarifies the perfection of the realm of sentient beings. Therein, first there is a general analysis, and next the interpretation of the root text. In the first part, ten gates of distinction are briefly made: 1. clarifying the number of assemblies; 2. new and old; 3. determining the capacity; 4. mundane and supramundane; 5. realms and destinies; 6. the various vehicles; 7. provisional and real; 8. stages and bhūmis; 9. expressing the Dharma; 10. cause and effect.
