20.27

第二明幻智念力知識者，自下九位知識，皆是舊翻于奠本所欠，應是西域覺賢之所略耳。余共日照三藏勘天竺諸本及崑崙本并于奠別行本，竝皆同有此文。是以於大唐永隆年，西京西太原寺三藏法師地婆訶羅，唐云日照，共京十大德道成律師等，奉勅譯補，沙門復禮親從筆受。

Second, concerning the spiritual friend of the power of mindfulness of illusory wisdom: the following nine spiritual friends were all lacking in the old translation of the Khotan recension; this must have been an omission by Buddhabhadra of the Western Regions. Together with Tripiṭaka Master Divākara, I collated various Indian recensions, a Kunlun recension, and an independent Khotan recension, and they all alike possessed this text. For this reason, in the Yonglong era of the Great Tang, Tripiṭaka Master Divākara—translated in Tang as Rizhao—of the Western Taiyuan Monastery in the Western Capital, together with Vinaya Master Daocheng and others of the capital's Ten Great Virtues, received an imperial decree to translate and supplement it, with the śramaṇa Fuli personally receiving the text brush in hand.
