20.28

文中亦五。初舉法勸修中，初示處內，何故此中上三十三天者？顯是摩耶。後所住故、人間諸位會相盡故。二示人內，正念天者，顯大智自在，入理不忘故。童女者，慈悲離染故。天主光者，顯淨義、光明義，是天義；最勝義、自在義，是主義。破闇義、照現義，是光義。即顯悲智勝用，以立斯名。三教問可知。

In the text there are also five parts. First, in presenting the dharma and encouraging practice: first, within showing the location, why does she ascend to the Trāyastriṃśa Heaven here? It shows that this is where Māyā subsequently dwelt, and that the various human stages have completely gathered appearances. Second, within showing the person: 'properly mindful deva' shows that with sovereign great wisdom, she enters principle without forgetting. 'Maiden' (kumārī) indicates being free from defilement through compassion. 'Devarāśmi' (Light of the Lord of Devas): the meanings of purity and luminosity are the meaning of deva; the meanings of supreme excellence and sovereignty are the meaning of lord; the meanings of breaking darkness and illuminating-manifesting are the meaning of light. That is, it establishes this name to reveal the superior functions of compassion and wisdom. Third, teaching how to ask is understood.
