大段第三，彌勒位是攝德成因相知識者。前既會緣入實，定堪成佛，故辨一生補處成因之義。五分同前。

The third major section: the stage of Maitreya is the spiritual friend who gathers virtues to consummate the cause. Since the preceding converged conditions to enter reality, one is definitely capable of attaining buddhahood; hence, it distinguishes the meaning of consummating the cause as one bound to one more birth. The five divisions are the same as before.
