20.51

初舉法勸修中，初勸往教問，以位極故教問，具足普賢行也；二「彼當」下歎德勸往，於中有二，初通顯勝德，先徵責、後十句釋成：一能滿他行、二為佛母、三菩薩師、四懃化生、五大名聞、六大法師、七佛所讚、八住深智、九多劫修、十滿普行。二「善男子」下別歎其是善財本緣。於中三：初明善財所成功德皆文殊力、二「是故」下結勸令往、三「何以故」下釋顯所由，是故上來所見所成皆是文殊也。

In the first [section], presenting the Dharma and encouraging practice: first, encouraging going and instructing him to ask; because the stage is ultimate, he instructs him to ask, so as to fully complete the practices of Samantabhadra. Second, from 'He will' onward, praising his virtues and encouraging him to go, wherein are two: first, universally revealing superior virtues, first inquiring and then ten phrases explaining and completing it: 1. able to fulfill others' practices; 2. being the mother of buddhas; 3. teacher of bodhisattvas; 4. diligently transforming living beings; 5. great renown; 6. great Dharma master; 7. praised by buddhas; 8. abiding in deep wisdom; 9. cultivating for many kalpas; 10. fulfilling universal practices. Second, from 'Good son' onward, specifically praising him as Sudhana's original condition. Herein are three: first, explaining that the meritorious virtues achieved by Sudhana are all the power of Mañjuśrī; second, from 'therefore' onward, concluding by encouraging him to go; third, from 'for what reason' onward, explaining and revealing the cause; therefore what was seen and accomplished above are all Mañjuśrī.
