九轉機者，初唯為小機，次通被三機，後唯一普機准之。

Ninth, as for the faculties addressed by the turning: the first is exclusively for small faculties; the next generally covers the three kinds of faculties; and the latter is exclusively for the single universal faculty, by analogy.
