3.83

自下第二大段辨得果之因，答前問中一切菩薩所修行海等問也。又釋：亦是於前諸世界性中開一世界性，顯內所有三種世間及五海等。文中分四：一舉往時處，辨佛興世為修行緣；二從「彼炎光城」下明普莊嚴童子能修行人；三「童子見佛」下辨對緣，正修成自分行；四「彼佛滅後」下明復更見佛成勝進行。

From here on, the second major section discerns the causes for attaining the result, answering the questions in the previous query regarding the ocean of practices cultivated by all bodhisattvas, and so forth. Another interpretation: it is also opening one world-nature from among the previous world-natures to reveal within it all three kinds of realms, five oceans, and so on. In the text, there are four divisions: 1. citing the past time and place, discerning the Buddha's arising in the world as the condition for cultivation; 2. from 'that city of Blazing Radiance' down, clarifying the youth Universal Adornment as the person capable of cultivating; 3. from 'when the youth saw the Buddha' down, discerning confronting conditions to correctly cultivate and achieve the practice of his own stage; 4. from 'after that Buddha entered extinction' down, clarifying seeing Buddhas again to achieve supreme advanced practice.
