3.84

初中四：一舉往時、二明往處、三處中場、四場上佛出。第二往處中四：一海中取性；二性內山林；三林東勝城，於中初依報勝、後人眾勝；四眷屬城嚴。第三場內，初場地、後華座。第四佛興中，初佛出、後放光利益。

In the first part there are four: 1. citing the past time; 2. clarifying the past place; 3. the arena within the place; 4. the Buddha's arising in the arena. In the second, the past place, there are four: 1. taking the nature from within the ocean; 2. the mountain forest within the nature; 3. the supreme city to the east of the forest—within which, first is the supremacy of the dependent retribution, and next the supremacy of the assembly of people; 4. the adornment of the retinue's city. In the third, within the arena, first is the ground of the arena, and next the flower throne. In the fourth, the Buddha's arising, first is the Buddha's appearance, and next his emitting light to benefit [beings].
