第三偈讚中，十菩薩即為十段，初一總、後九別。以是說法主故名法慧，是故總敘此會本末以顯佛德。後皆於此總說上歎差別德，是故總別無礙，唯一如來法界身，於中或即理即事、即教即義、即因即果、即人即法、即心即境，圓融自在舉體全攝。此等即是十住中法，下諸偈應准知此意。

Third, in the verse praises, the ten bodhisattvas constitute ten sections: the first one is general, and the latter nine are specific. Because he is the host who preaches the Dharma, he is named Dharmamati (Dharma Wisdom); therefore, he generally recounts the origin and development of this assembly to reveal the Buddha's virtues. The subsequent [bodhisattvas] all praise the differentiated virtues on the basis of this general explanation. Therefore, the general and the specific are unobstructed; there is only the single dharmadhātu-kāya of the Tathāgata, within which it is either principle as phenomena, teaching as meaning, cause as fruition, person as Dharma, or mind as realm, perfectly interpenetrating and sovereign, with the entire essence completely encompassing all. These are precisely the teachings within the ten abidings; the subsequent verses should be understood in accordance with this idea.
