Sixth, Bhadramati (Good Wisdom): because he knows that the Buddha is free from malice, and because he skillfully explains the path of clarity and purity. The ten verses are divided into four [parts]: the first three verses adduce the Buddha's real virtues: 1. the two benefits are consummate and wondrous; 2. accumulated virtues are required before seeing him; 3. being identical to principle, he transcends emotional attachments. The second, four verses, distinguish the Dharma spoken by the Buddha: 1. showing that the Dharma is without exposition; 2. explaining that the exposition of non-exposition is an exposition without end; or also, the preceding verse explains that because there is no exposition, words are exhausted, while this verse explains that exhausting words is also transcended, hence called inexhaustible; 3. explaining the preceding "seeing the Great Renowned One." The first verse explains that in the seeing of non-seeing, sentient beings are the seers, which also does not exist; the latter verse explains that in seeing non-seeing, what is indestructible is: 1. the seeing does not depend on being refuted; 2. seeing the indestructible principle; 3. the essence of seeing is precisely the true. Third, one and a half verses conclude the preceding marks of knowing the Buddha and the benefits of his preaching. Fourth, one and a half verses attribute the merit [to the root].
