三攝行中，依《瑜伽論》，七眾所持解脫戒是菩薩律儀戒攝，六度十地等是攝善法戒收，四攝四無量等是饒益有情戒攝。又有攝義，如《對法論》第十二中說。

Regarding subsuming practices: according to the Yogācārabhūmi, the prātimokṣa precepts kept by the seven assemblies are subsumed under the bodhisattva's moral discipline of restraint (saṃvara-śīla); the six pāramitās, ten bhūmis, etc., are gathered under the moral discipline of collecting wholesome dharmas (kuśaladharma-saṃgrāhaka-śīla); the four means of embracing (saṃgraha-vastu), the four immeasurables, etc., are subsumed under the moral discipline of benefiting sentient beings (sattvārthakriyā-śīla). There are also other meanings of subsumption, as explained in the twelfth fascicle of the Abhidharmasamuccayavyākhyā.
