三種類者，或唯一，謂忍度。或二，《智論》云「一眾生忍、二法忍。」或三，如前。或五，謂信忍等。或十，如下〈十忍品〉及〈離世間品〉說。

Third, as for its varieties: it may be only one, that is, the perfection of patience; or two, as the Dà zhìdù lùn states: '1. patience regarding sentient beings, and 2. patience regarding dharmas'; or three, as above; or five, meaning the patience of faith and so forth; or ten, as explained below in the 'Chapter on the Ten Patiences' and the 'Chapter on Departing from the World'.
