三種類者，《唯識論》云「願有二種：一求菩提願、二利樂他願。」或四弘五願，如《瑜伽》說。或十願，如下說。

Third, concerning the varieties: the Vijñaptimātratāsiddhi says, "There are two kinds of vows: first, the vow to seek bodhi; second, the vow to bring benefit and joy to others." Alternatively, there are the four universal vows or five vows, as explained in the Yogācārabhūmi. Alternatively, there are ten vows, as explained below.
