Sixth, within praising and not praising, there are three: first, Mañjuśrī both praises and does not praise: meaning, before Sudhana has generated the aspiration, he only exhorts him to generate the aspiration, hence he does not praise; after exhorting him to generate the aspiration, he then praises him. The spiritual benefactors in between all have praises, because they stimulate his practice and advancement; that some do not praise should be an abbreviation.
